PS: I'm not sure if the Portuguese Base Set was printing in both Portugal and Brazil, but if it was, there is no visible difference for any set afaik. 1st edition stamp variations (primarily the first section before I showed any stamp and the 'Other languages' section).

The ©1999-2000 print was the eight and final print of the Base Set, which was exclusively printing in the UK (and distributed in the UK, Australia, and Poland, among other countries). Shadowless refers to the lack of shadows around the artwork which are there in unlimited edition cards (or in other languages). In English there are four versions: 1st edition (Shadowless) non-1st Shadowless unlimited edition ©1999 and unlimited edition ©1999-2000. Here a picture of both Pikachu from those Japanese sets. In Japanese, it's called the 1st Starter & Expansion Pack, where the '1st edition' versions lack the rarity symbol, more commonly known as the No Rarity Base Set, and 'unlimited edition' are with rarity symbol. The Base Set is released in Japanese, English, Dutch, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Korean, and Chinese.
